Our R9 windows can be created to fit flush into the window area and to the same size specifications as timber but they can offer superior energy efficiency. These windows have a 9-chamber design in the frames, enabling them to attain an A+ WER (Window Energy Rating), meaning they reduce the amount of heat lost. This will allow you to reduce your energy consumption when heating your home. Our R9 double-glazed (28mm) attain a U-value of 1.2W/m2K and our triple-glazed (44mm) attain a U-value of 0.8W/m2K which means they are comfortably under the British Building Regulations limit of 1.3K/m2K U-value.
